Me giving Shaun some advise on a shot.

I think that this image works as it does not show Kates body particularly well. This way it gives a sense of mystery, also, we cannot see what she is looking at. this creates a lack of a omniscient feeling.

This one could work, as we see that she is quite scared and confused. We are led to believe that something is making her feel this way, but we are unsure as to what.

In this image, the viewer can gain an understanding of Kate, as she is looking straight at the camera, full eye contact with her head being on the top of the rule of thirds allows the viewer to get a real look into Kate and her emotions.

This is my personal favorite for the Magazine Cover, the lower angle shot gives Kate a small amount of power, this way we can see she is the main protagonist. The way she is stood with her arms wrapped around herself gives her a sense of vulnerability, which makes the viewer emphathise with her. We also dont know what she is looking at, at what is scaring her, which takes away the omniscient power the viewer tends to have when watching a film, which can be quite frightening - exactly what we want from the trailer and the magazine covers/ posters.
